The Brief

A two-part brief from The Studio this brand exercise: Business Proposal and Brand Design.

Brief aims to create a brand and service to value-add Fort Canning Park — with the ultimate goal of increasing its foot traffic to the park.

The Idea

KAI CHA is a contemporary Japanese Teahouse & Cafe, proposed to be situated at The Foothills, Fort Canning Park - a hidden sanctuary within the park; offering a space to spend quality time with one’s self in the midst of the bustling city life.

The Teahouse offers a guided and uncomplicated authentic introduction to the Japanese Tea Ceremony while the Cafe provides a curated blend of modern Japanese tea and wagashi.

About the Logo

From its harvest to the packaging to bringing forth the flavour of the teas during one’s Ceremony, the logo encapsulates it all. It also resembles a Japanese crest, symbolising each visitor is part of the family of KAI CHA.
